Firestone McCormick 22-36 |
|
This was one of Harvey Firestone's personal tractors. It was used on his farm. Then later used to test tractor tire design. This is a before shot of the tractor, before it was pulled out of the storage barn that it had been sitting in for many years. This tractor has been restored by Spiegelberg Restoration and Service, LTD. It is on display at the Firestone Ag Tire test farm. |

It was a privilege for Spiegelberg Restoration to be able to restore this tractor. There is historical significance to this tractor. It started out as a personal tractor of Harvey Firestone. It was then a tractor used for testing farm tires. We believe that Henry Ford and Thomas Edison also closely examined this tractor, and probably sat on it. |
